Founded in 1952, and operating under its present name since 1962, the MAGLIFICIO DENNY was launched on the Italian market as a family firm, with the entire processing cycle conducted internally (weaving, finishing, ironing, dispatch control). The utmost attention to the quality of the product continues to be one of the strong points of the company, a leader in the cashmere knitwear sector.
The production (luxury and top fashion segment) is aimed at a world market, with a targeted focus on countries where the MADE IN ITALY product is a must.
Constant and ongoing innovation and research is the guiding concept focused on the achievement of pure quality. To this end, considerable resources are devoted to the study of experimental techniques aimed at the creation of innovative prototypes and the attainment of a product of the very highest quality which is also technologically advanced, at an accessible price.
As part of the strategy for consolidating the brand with the end customer, in 1983 the MAGLIFICIO DENNY opened its factory shop to the public, and from 1987 in an area of about 1,300 square metres in the centre of Prato, a large section of the current premises in Via Santa Gonda, 3/1 is given over to direct sales.
Adhering to this same tradition of excellence, for over thirty years it has offered ranges for men, women and children, as well as accessories (gloves, hats and scarves), based on a profound knowledge of its customers’ demands and lifestyles.
The MAGLIFICIO DENNY can provide precise consultancy on the yarns used, since it collaborates with the principal spinning mills working in the medium-high/high market bracket.

Our company boasts a department specifically dedicated to the sample phase, which monitors our collections from the design stage through to the creation of the finished product; our tradition and creativity are placed at the disposal of other brands, labels and distribution chains for the development of customised collections. This is an all-round service that starts from the basic idea and passes through the selection of the finest raw materials that are then combined with our consolidated know-how to generate a product of success.
Thanks to our network of agents distributed both throughout Italy and abroad we are present in all the Italian regions, in the principal European countries and also in Russia, one of the emerging new markets.
Restocking deliveries are made throughout Italy within 48-72 hours of submission of the order.
Major attention is paid to the selection of the carded and combed yarns, both plain and fancy, in pure virgin, merino, shetland, cashmere and cotton or blends of natural and synthetic fibres.
The yarn is processed on cotton looms, electronic and seamless knitting machines in gauges 3-5-7-12-14-16, plain and argyle. The knitwear is accompanied by accessories such as scarves, hats, gloves and capes.
Every year we create two exclusive collections of our models: one for the spring-summer season and one for the autumn-winter season with particular focus on the cashmere and merino ranges.
All the phases of processing are performed entirely in Italy with the use of Italian yarns, technologies and creativity. Each garment is monitored with the care and attention typical of the Tuscan craftsmen to offer a product that interprets the best of MADE IN ITALY tailored to the demands of the clientele.
